Complaints (Hojas de Reclamaciones)
At YLC Valencia we aim to resolve any issues quickly and directly. If you have a problem, we encourage you to contact us first — most situations are resolved promptly. If direct communication is unsuccessful, you have the right to use the official consumer protection mechanisms provided by Spanish and Valencian Community law.
Direct contact with the school
Before submitting a formal complaint, please contact us:
Email: artes@ylc.es (subject: "Complaint")
Phone: +34 644 937 664
Address: Av. de l'Institut Obrer de València, 21, 46013 València
We respond to enquiries within 5 working days and aim to find a resolution that satisfies both parties.
Official Complaints Forms (Hojas de Reclamaciones)
As a provider of services to consumers in the Comunitat Valenciana, the school holds official complaint forms (hojas de reclamaciones) and is required to provide them to any consumer who requests one. The paper form is available at the school premises:
Av. de l'Institut Obrer de València, 21, 46013 València
Refusing to provide the form is a breach of consumer protection law. The form is completed in several copies: one for the consumer, one for the school, and one for the competent consumer authority.
Online complaint
You may also file your complaint online through the official Generalitat Valenciana portal (Servei de Consum):
https://www.gva.es — consumer procedures section.
You will need a DNI/NIE or electronic signature (Cl@ve) to submit online.
Response time
The school is required to reply to the official complaint within 1 month of receipt. The response will be provided in the same format as the complaint (in writing or by email), unless otherwise agreed with the complainant.
Out-of-court resolution
If you are not satisfied with the school's response, you may use the following free services:
• Junta Arbitral de Consumo de la Comunitat Valenciana — arbitration whose decision is binding on both parties subject to a prior agreement to submit.
• Servei de Consum de la Generalitat Valenciana — consumer rights enforcement and mediation.
EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
Regulatory bodies
If consumer legislation has been breached, you may contact:
• Dirección General de Consumo (Generalitat Valenciana) — regional level.
• Ministerio de Derechos Sociales, Consumo y Agenda 2030 — national level.
• AEPD — Spanish Data Protection Agency, for personal data breaches: www.aepd.es
