Spanish for your team

Relocated staff to Spain? We get the team speaking Spanish at work, at the bank and through paperwork, from everyday phrases to dealing with a contractor. The teacher comes to your office or teaches online, on a schedule built around your shifts.

100% fundable through FUNDAE.

Why YLC

A language school in Valencia. We train adults and company teams in Spanish and English, from scratch to working confidently in the language. We do one thing only: real speaking practice for people who need the language at work.

Seven years in Valencia

The school opened in 2019 and has run without a break since. Our programmes have taken 2000+ adult students through them, and the Google rating holds at 4.9 stars based on reviews from real graduates.

We teach working adults

Our students hold jobs: engineers, doctors, team leads, business owners. The programme, the pace and the homework are built for people with 2 to 4 hours a week to study, not a whole free day.

Native and bilingual staff

Our teachers are native speakers and bilinguals with experience inside international companies. We measure the level before the start on the CEFR scale, A0 to B2, and carry on from exactly that point.

Spanish and English

One school covers both languages: two programmes, a single contract. If part of the team needs Spanish to live in Spain while another needs English for clients, there is no hunting for a second provider.

FUNDAE-accredited centre

The school is accredited to deliver subsidised training, which means 60—80% of the hours covered by the state. We prepare the application, the reporting and all the closing paperwork ourselves.

You can see what happens

We measure every employee at the start, then send an attendance and progress report every 8 weeks. HR sees who turns up and who is falling behind, without having to ask for it or chase anyone.

Common challenges in corporate training

Over seven years we have built corporate groups for dozens of teams and keep seeing the same six problems. Here is what breaks training most often and how we close each of those situations down.

Classes over the lunch break

A lesson in the break eats the only rest of the day: after a month the group arrives drained, after two it stops coming. We schedule before work, after it or inside the shift, but never in the break.

Content that misses the job

A purely technical course suits two people in every ten; the rest need meetings, email and phone calls. So we build the groups around the work profile instead: general, commercial or technical.

Mixed levels in one room

When a beginner and an advanced speaker share a lesson, both are bored. Before the start we test everyone and split the intake by level, A0 to B2, so the pace matches what the group can really follow.

People miss classes for work

Trips and crunch weeks break the routine: someone falls behind and quits. We hand over the material from the missed lesson and a place in another group at their level, or the option to join the class online.

No sign of any result

With nothing measured, training looks like a pure cost line. We record the starting level, track attendance and send a report every 8 weeks on each employee’s progress, with figures and a teacher comment.

The course never finishes

Half of all corporate programmes fade out by the third month. We hold the group with a schedule that does not fight the working day, 60-minute lessons and a teacher people get used to over the course.

Why companies stay with us

Contracts get renewed not because of a discount but because training stops being a headache: people show up, reports arrive on their own and the FUNDAE paperwork is ready on time. Eight reasons clients name themselves.

The teacher comes to you

Classes run at your office, in a meeting room or any free space. The team loses not one minute commuting and never drops out of the working day: the lesson ends and everyone is back at their tasks.

Small groups by level

We do not push everyone into one stream. We split by level and work profile, up to 10 people offline and 5 online, so each person speaks out loud in every session instead of listening for a whole hour.

A schedule around your shift

Before work, after it or inside the day, whatever suits operations. 60-minute lessons, 2 to 8 hours a week. If the company calendar shifts, we move the classes around rather than your own people.

Training funded by FUNDAE

We are accredited for subsidised training: we file the application, keep the records and prepare the documents. The state covers 60—80% of the hours from the company’s annual credit, with no extra cost to you.

Reporting built for HR

Every 8 weeks we send a summary: who attends, what progress has been made and where support is needed. HR sees the return on budget in figures, not in a teacher’s general impressions of the group.

Missed classes are not lost

A trip or a crunch week is no reason to lose what has been paid for. The employee gets the material and can join any group at their own level or dial into the class online from anywhere with internet.

Pause without losing anything

Over summer, through holiday season or in a busy stretch the course can be paused and picked up later. Paid hours never expire: the group reassembles unchanged and carries on from exactly the same point.

One manager to talk to

The company gets one person who answers for everything: scheduling, teacher cover, documents, FUNDAE questions. A reply within 1 business day — no writing to different people and explaining it all again.

What we adapt to you

We have no standard corporate course: we assemble one for each company. Four parameters you set yourself, and we shape the programme and the class calendar around them.

Schedule

You pick the day, time and frequency: 2 to 8 hours a week, in 60-minute lessons.

Group make-up

General, commercial or technical profile. Up to 10 people offline and 5 online.

Location

Your office, our school by the City of Arts, or online from anywhere.

Reporting

Every 8 weeks: attendance and progress per employee, for HR and management.
